Scarborough Seaside Resort

Scarborough is the largest and one of the oldest seaside resorts on the Yorkshire Coast. Scarborough has everything you could wish for in a day out to the seaside, a large sandy beach adjacent to the main coastal road, a large fishing harbour, plenty of seaside shops and loads of food takeaways on the sea front.

Peasholm Park Scarborough - North Yorkshire is open for everyone to enjoy all year round, 24 hours a day and seven days a week. Entrance to the Park, which is never closed, is FREE.
Located at the North Bay, you can wander around the park and look at the streams and waterfalls dotted around or hire a boat for the family. You can choose from traditional rowing boats and canoes or pedalos with dragon heads. Two cafes are at the park, where you can grab a sandwich or drink. The park has been designed with an oriental theme and there is much evidence of this as you wander through the park.

Scarborough Beach - is divided into two parts – North Bay and South Bay. Both of the bays have really good beaches.
The South Bay beach at Scarborough is full of attractions and entertainment. It is also where the harbour has pleasure steamers taking visitors on trips up and down the coast, other boats also offer trips.
The North Bay beach is a quiet beach and is dominated by the Sea Life Centre. Ice creams and food and drink can be purchased near the beach.

The Scarborough Fair Collection - is home to a great collection of Vintage Cars, Steam Engines, Vintage Fairground Rides and Mechanical Organs. You will also find a ‘Mighty’ Wurlitzer Organ in the ballroom. Located in the Flower of May Holiday Park, on the coast road between Scarborough and Filey.
Come and see the world famous showman’s engine, The Iron Maiden star of the 1962 film of the same name.
Visit the vintage fairground, see the the Tidman Golden Galloping Horses and enjoy times gone by. Ride on the rare caterpillar ride, a ghost train, a Mini Austin car ride, The Cake Walk, Dodgems and 20th Century Thriller ‘Noah’s Ark’.
