Immaculate caravan, lots to do for the family.
Well done and thank you for a lovely break. I was a bit nervous about going away with present situation, but Haven have thought of everything! The caravan was spotless, I could smell the bleach from outside. Procedures for checking in and out were very covid safe. Some of the activities were not open or limited but we still had a great time. Managed to get a pool slot, again very well ran by the staff. On leaving we noticed a fun fair and what looked like outdoor cinema, probably for Halloween weekend. I thought this was great as there are so many activities we can’t do inside, it seemed Haven have thought about alternative covid safe activities for all the family. The site is HUGE! We didn’t make it round every where.
Just a couple of constructive criticisms, we stayed in a standard caravan. These have parking by the caravan but it’s just grass and became very muddy, slippery. My dad fell over packing the car and hurt his knee as a result. I think these need to have gravel or slabs to make it safer. Take your wellies if your expecting rain during your stay.
Also the central heating was on a timer. This is great because it saves energy, but once it’s on you can’t turn it off for 2 hours. It would be good to have an off switch.
Apart from those 2 things, it was such a lovely break we have booked another stay for Easter. Can’t wait to visit again.

Haven have worked hard to operate safely and if you can get on board with the tech for booking and ordering whilst you’re there you’ll find time at Haven is better than it ever was. Special call out to Vicky in The Lakehouse Restaurant who goes out of her way to give everyone a warm welcome, but makes it look effortless - she is a huge asset, as are her likeminded colleagues.

Primrose Valley is the best clean Caravan site we have ever been to .You also get greeted by the man on gate with is fun hats ,Very helpful and friendly staff plenty to do .Wheelchair friendly all round site not like other sites we have been .We have been in three different kind of caravans from Prestigue Deluxe now Adaped caravan all lovely and clean . Primrose valley was Covid friendly and everything put in place .Myself and my partner are coming This Saturday 25th september 2021 can,t wait to come and we will be booking again for next year .
